Everything we do here, and how we decide what you need.
Molar Town is a general dentistry practice. We do cleanings and checkups, fillings and crowns, extractions, gum treatment, implant crowns, whitening, clear aligners, and night guards. Before any of it, we take a careful look and talk it through with you, never rushed. When something is better done by a specialist, we’ll tell you, help set it up, and keep seeing you for everything else.
Before anything else
It starts with the diagnosis.
The most valuable thing we do isn’t a filling or a crown. It’s the careful look and the honest conversation before either one. Every exam here is built around that, which is why a first visit takes longer than you may be used to.
We look properly
A full exam, photos, and 3D scans of your whole mouth, with x-rays only when there’s a question worth answering. Nothing gets called a problem until we’ve seen it from more than one angle and checked it.
We show you the evidence
What we find goes up on the screen in front of you, pointed at and explained in plain language: what’s urgent, what can wait, what’s optional, and what would happen if we did nothing.
We decide together
You get the options and the trade-offs, not a sales pitch. Your habits, your goals, and your budget shape the plan. If something isn’t in your best interest, you’ll hear it from us, even when it isn’t what you hoped to hear. Nothing goes ahead until you understand it and agree with it.
The plan, the images, and the reasoning go home with you in your DentalDNA report, so the decision stays yours after you leave.

Checkups & prevention
- Thorough exams and professional cleanings. Where most of staying healthy happens.
- Modern digital imaging. We’re picky about what a good image looks like, because it’s your record of your own mouth.
- Oral cancer and gum health screenings. At every checkup, with time to explain what we see.
- Digital copies of your x-rays, photos, and scans. Yours to keep, yours to send.
- The details of what’s in your mouth. Any medication placed and anything permanent, with the brand, lot number, and shade, because it’s nice to know exactly what’s taking up residence in there.
- Easy to share. Your x-rays and records send cleanly to any specialist or doctor whose opinion you value.
- Dental and medical, together. Your mouth is part of your body, and we like the two working side by side.
- When something turns up. Once in a while an x-ray or exam shows something unexpected, even with no symptoms. If we notice it, we’ll point it out and may suggest a follow-up with your physician.

Fillings, crowns & repairs
- Tooth-colored fillings. Matched to your natural shade.
- Custom crowns and bridges. Made for your bite and your shade, from materials we trust.
- Crowns for dental implants. The implant itself is placed by a surgeon we trust. The crown that goes on it is made here, to look and work like the teeth around it.
- Silver diamine fluoride (SDF). Can stop decay without drilling in the right cases. Ask whether you’re a candidate.
- Sedative fillings. A soothing, temporary fill for a badly broken-down tooth, buying time and comfort until we plan something lasting together.
- Temporary restorations. Comfort now, while we plan the best long-term fix together.
- Entirely your choice. We’re glad to adjust or repair what you already have.
- Curious about something new? Today’s materials have come a long way, and are far more comfortable and natural-looking than they used to be.

Extractions & gum care
- Extractions. When a tooth can’t be saved, done gently, with what comes next already planned.
- Gum treatment. Deep cleanings and ongoing gum care, with the measurements to show you what’s changing over time.
- Some things belong in a specialist’s hands. Placing an implant, a difficult extraction, orthodontics beyond aligners. When that’s the case, we’ll say so, explain why, send your records, and keep seeing you for everything else. Referring when it makes sense is part of doing this well.

Cosmetic & whitening
- Professional whitening. Brighter, safely, with guidance.
- Porcelain veneers. Reshape and renew, designed around your features. Best for the right candidate, and like all dental work, they take some upkeep to keep looking their best.
- Better materials than you remember. Today’s ceramics, composites, and 3D-printed options are far better than the dental work of the past.
- Bothered by how something looks? If stained or worn fillings, or older crowns that have darkened at the gumline, bother you, we’ll give you an honest opinion on whether replacing them is worth it.
- Only when it’s right. We weigh the risks and benefits together, and only go ahead when you and your dentist both believe it’s the right thing to do.

Aligners & protection
- Clear aligners. Subtle straightening on your schedule.
- Custom night guards. Protection from grinding while you sleep.
- Custom sport guards. A secure fit for active families.
- Digital scans. We avoid old-fashioned goopy impressions whenever we can.

Second opinions, welcome
- We sit with your records, which we’d love for you to own, and walk through the images together.
- Plain language, the whole way. What we see, and what we’d do if it were our own family. Whether something is urgent or can wait often depends on your habits and your goals, so we talk it through instead of pretending there’s one certain answer.
- If a plan doesn’t make sense, we’ll help you figure out why. And when it does, we’ll say so just as plainly. Two dentists can look at the same tooth and recommend different things, because the right answer depends on you.
- Want a second opinion on our plan? Please get one. We’re not offended, just the opposite. We want you confident in your care, wherever that answer comes from.

Curiosity
Carl Sagan’s room, with Stephen Hawking and Jared Isaacman for company. The calcium in your enamel was made inside stars that died before the sun was born. The suite where the ceiling might as well be a night sky.
Innovation
The engineering room, from rockets and robots to crowns. The drill (we call it a handpiece) is an air turbine spinning more than 400,000 times a minute, and the water spray is what keeps your tooth cool.
Energy
Nikola Tesla and Richard Feynman’s room. Most of what happens in a dental chair is physics: the blue light that hardens a filling, the cleaning tip that vibrates faster than you can hear, and the reason cold hurts.
Connection
Alan Turing and Demis Hassabis’s room. Software can now read an x-ray alongside your dentist. A person still makes the call, and you see what it saw on your own screen.
Helix
Rosalind Franklin and Jennifer Doudna’s room. Enamel is the one tissue in your body that can’t rebuild itself, which is why prevention matters so much here. DentalDNA is named for this room’s science.
Catalyst
Dmitri Mendeleev and Marie Curie’s room. Everything we place in your mouth is a material chosen to live there for years: calcium, fluoride, titanium, zirconia, even gold.

For the whole family
One dental home for the whole family.
From a child’s first tooth to a grandparent’s newest crown, the whole family can be seen here, and nobody gets talked into anything.
Cleanings, checkups, and gentle preventive care for kids, parents, and grandparents alike. Early visits stay easy and pressure-free, so kids grow up comfortable in the chair, and when a child needs more than a cleaning and a filling, we’ll point you to a children’s specialist we trust and keep seeing them for the routine visits in between.

What the technology is for.
What it doesIt handles the busywork. Records, paperwork, and reminders happen in the background, so more of our attention stays on you. The decisions are made by people, and they’re yours.
3D scans without radiation. A full-mouth scan is photos stitched into a 3D model: no radiation, no goopy impressions. X-rays still have their job, and you’ll always know why we’re taking one.
Kept, and explained. Your records are organized and written in plain English, because a pile of data you can’t read isn’t worth much. Year over year, your scans become a timeline of your mouth, kept safe, because one day it could matter.
Your data, your paceLove detail? So do we. Every preference captured, a comfort survey on file, a fresh 3D scan each year. Prefer to keep it light? Just say so. We’ll go at your pace, with only the minimum we need to care for you safely.
How we make thingsThe right lab for your case. When something has to be made, we choose the lab carefully, favoring good local ones, and we still believe in same-day and next-day tooth replacement when the moment calls for it.
In-house 3D printing. Mouth guards, bite guards, temporary crowns, and denture duplicates, made here. The fastest-growing (and most fun) corner of the practice.
