Patients

What it’s like to be a patient here.

Molar Town opens Spring 2027 — and the inbox is open now. Whether it’s been years or you’re simply ready for better, here’s what to expect.

Your first visit

Four steps. No rush. No surprises.

Tap any step for the full story — tap it again to close.

Step 01

Settle in

A private room that’s yours — set it up your way.

Your room
  • A real door, not a curtain — every room is a fully private suite.
  • Your settings — lighting, sound, and temperature, all yours to adjust.
  • Room for a support person — a comfortable seat right beside you, whenever having someone there helps.
While you’re here
  • Distraction on tap — VR, Meta glasses, and playful learning to dip into if you’d like.
  • Interactive rooms — each suite is themed around a field of science. Scan the QR code from your chair to unlock fun, science-themed educational experiences.
Step 02

A good look at everything

A full, careful exam — gentle, modern, and thorough.

How we look
  • A full, careful exam plus photos and 3D scans of your whole mouth at every visit.
  • Far less radiation than old-style film — and digital scans instead of goopy impressions whenever possible.
  • Sealed, single-patient supplies — opened in front of you, every time.
Nothing hidden
  • Every scan adds to your timeline — visit after visit, tracking your teeth over time like never before.
  • And we share that view with you — on screen, pointed at and explained, not kept behind the scenes.
Step 03

Real conversation

What we found, what it means, and what your options are.

Straight talk
  • Plain language — your dentist explains what they see and what your choices are, clearly.
  • Zero pressure — what’s urgent, what can wait, and what’s optional. You decide.
Your pace
  • Want it quick and quiet instead? Just say so — we tailor every visit and we’re never offended.
  • Be more yourself, not less — that’s the whole point of the place.
Step 04

Take it home

You leave actually understanding your mouth — with proof.

What goes with you
  • Your images — high-quality copies of your x-rays, photos, and scans.
  • Your materials — any medication placed and anything permanent in your mouth, with the brand, lot number, and shade.
  • Your DentalDNA report — what we found, in plain language you’ll actually remember.
Why we do it
  • No more guessing — if something ever needs replacing, repairing, or checking, the answer is already in your hands.
  • Most patients have never been handed this much clarity — we think they should be. It’s your mouth, and your story.

Made for real people

Your visit, your way.

Comfort

Your room, your settings

Set the lighting, sound, and temperature yourself — and if we already know you, we’ll have it waiting the way you like.

Your pace

Quick or in-depth — your call

Some patients love walking through their photos and x-rays together; others would rather keep it brief. Tell us beforehand and we’ll match you.

Family

For every age

We love seeing children for cleanings and checkups, and we’ll happily do a filling or two for a child who’s comfortable in the chair. When there’s more going on, we’ll point you to a trusted children’s specialist built for it.

Good to know

Questions new patients ask.

Quick logistics only — tap a question to open it.

How do I become a patient?

Email hello@molartown.com — or reach out through our Contact page — and we’ll be in touch as scheduling opens for our Spring 2027 launch. Those who say hello early hear first, and reaching out commits you to nothing.

Do you take my insurance?

Molar Town is an independent practice. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we’ll gladly help you use them: we prepare the documentation your insurer needs and file claims for you as a courtesy whenever possible. Our Insurance & Payment page has the full picture.

Can I bring someone with me?

If having someone with you helps, yes — every suite has a comfortable seat for a support person, and a well-behaved child is welcome alongside you. Two things worth a quick thought first: whether that person genuinely puts you at ease, and — if a child is coming — whether it’s a visit you’d want them to watch. Not sure? Ask when you book and we’ll help you plan it.

What should I bring?
  • Any old records you’re happy for us to copy — charts, receipts, paperwork, even those mystery CDs a specialist handed you. We’ll scan everything and sort out what’s useful.
  • Your HSA/FSA card or preferred payment.
  • A support person, if that puts you at ease.
  • Your questions — written down, plus what you’d like from us.
Can you gather my records ahead of time?

Yes. If you’ve reserved your first appointment and want us to request records from a previous dental office or physician, tell us early — we’ll need reasonable lead time to request and receive them before your visit.

I’m nervous, or it’s been a while. Is that okay?

You’re exactly who we built this for. Visits are unhurried, gentle, and judgment-free — and you set the pace. Tell us what makes you comfortable and we’ll take it from there.

Those are the logistics. The bigger questions — metal fillings, kids, nerves, what can wait, second opinions — get our honest, personal answers too. Just ask.
